Cupcakes, Cakes and Cribs (Well my Nursery)

So as you can tell I have been super busy painting sewing and cooking. I had a neighbor who approached me two days before her daughter got married and she asked me to make her a wedding cake, so the pink flowered cake was the best that I could do on such short notice. Then a week or so later my friend was having a birthday party for her son and I offered to make cupcakes and a cake for his pirate themed birthday. In the midst of all of this I was in the process of refinishing a trunk that was my great grandfather's, a new armoir that now will be used as a changing table, and a crib. So to say the least I have been busy. Well once I finished my painting projects I started all of my sewing projects which included, sewing a new bumper,a new bedskirt, new curtains, a new backdrop for the changing table, a carseat cover and to finish that all off two new pillows to go on the rocking chair where I will be spending a few sleepless nights here in the near future.

So things are good, I am getting nervous and excited all at once. I have a little over eight weeks to go, and to tell you the truth that really blows my mind. I will be heading up to Utah tomorrow to go and see my friends before my doctor will not let me out of town. Anyways I hope everyone enjoyed seeing photos of the nursery.

Gorgeous! I love it all. I can't believe you were able to finish all that while you're preggers! I was exhausted the entire time and could hardly do anything!
